COVID-19 is spreading fast in Europe and Americas, meanwhile in China and some Asian countries the situation in some regions is normalizing. The situation is getting very challenging when it comes to Africa, Cameroon in particular because there are no detail statistics on the present development of covid-19. The spread of coronavirus and related government actions, such as State of Emergency declarations, have slowed down our activities and project plans for the year 2020.
ACCADA eV created a platform through which the population was informed on the measures, risks and recommended behavior on how to fight the coronavirus pandemic. Through this platform, families and friends in the entire country who are unfortunately, facing a double crisis, were able to access real time information on the evolution and available preventive methods to go around this disease.
ACCADA eV and other German based associations constantly monitor the situation and its development in Cameroon and Germany. Safety and health of our members and their family remain our first priority.
