We are thrilled to announce that ACCADA e.V. has been awarded €1,000 in funding by the Ökumenewerk der Nordkirche (Ecumenical Network of the Northern Church) for our upcoming event, “Football Without Borders: Community Building in Hamburg.” (Play N’ Plate: Kick for Unity, Culture and Football). This generous support will directly enable us to promote integration, break down cultural barriers, and strengthen community ties through the universal language of football.
The event, scheduled for 6th September 2025, will bring together migrants, asylum seekers, and locals through mixed-team football tournaments, family-friendly activities, and first-aid training workshops. By combining sport, dialogue, and practical skill-building, we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where new friendships can flourish and isolation can be overcome.
